Children of the Light

All beings are aspects of God or Source energy exploring this universe and the greater multi-dimensional universe. This group includes all aspects of all types of physical and non-physical beings, including those entities or children who have become lost in the darkness. Just as we are always ‘children’ to our parents, we use the term children to denote our position in relation to God or Source energy*.

In this article, we address those aspects of God in non-physical embodiment who are “in the light”, that is, those whose chosen purpose is to assist in the spiritual evolution of their “brothers and sisters”. Unlike their counterparts, the children of darkness, all Children of Light honor the free-will of others to love or to fear. If a person is predominately ruled by their fears, their energy levels are such that the information from these high level beings cannot be heard- even though prior to our incarnating, they agreed to assist us in our spiritual growth (just as we chose to be their guides when they were in physical embodiment).

Children of Light are also referred to as spiritual guides and teachers, or angels. The more open and loving a person chooses to be, the more their energies are in sync with the positive energies of love and light available to them. A person with an open mind who radiates love is able to manifest their clairvoyant abilities and thus receive guidance from these higher realm beings.

Those who incarnate into this world at this time are referred to as Indigo Children, Rainbow Children or Crystal Children. Their purpose is to assist humanity in its spiritual evolution just as those light beings from the realms of light who work with individuals on the earth plane.

The Children of Light communicate with humans by utilizing the unique physiology of each person they are assisting. When a person has embraced a belief system which is primarily ruled by fear (i.e., fear of not meeting God’s expectations, or fear of eternal damnation), they inadvertently restrict the flow of communication with their guides and teachers whose energies reflect only love and acceptance. Thus, information that does come through becomes distorted or reshaped by the person’s fear-based belief systems and much confusion results.

For example, a person with a strong Christian background who only accepts the teachings of the Bible might seek information from Jesus or God but in doing so, will alter it to accommodate the limitations of their consciousness belief system which is firmly in place. Many Christians will not consider meditation because they fear communicating with the dark side which they do not understand. Meditation is not something promoted by many religious leaders simply because of the fact that they cannot control the truth of what their members will access through meditation and thus they instil fear about it.

An open mind is vitally important for anyone seeking higher spiritual truths. If your beliefs are inherited from your parents or the society in which you live, you greatly limit yourself in your ability to communicate with God and the higher realms of consciousness. Anyone who holds up a religious book and claims it is the only word of God, denies their innate ability to communicate with the living God and find the truth for themselves. (This stands true for any religious belief system acquired from others who are in fear of God or the equivalent.)

In order to communicate with your own guides, your own soul, and with God, it is important to learn how to control your own consciousness. Meditation is a powerful tool for relaxation and communication. As most of our thoughts are so consumed with the mental effort of day to day survival, we have become unaware of our connection to our higher selves or God. Meditating is a way of putting off to the side all the distractions of being in a physical reality so that we can tune into the non-physical reality of our soul—which is the real us. When we create a clear, peaceful space within our mind, it enables us to receive all the communications we desire from the higher levels. Through meditating, we can open up to the vital life force of Source energy and knowledge.

There are many levels of consciousness within the realms of light just as there are in the worlds of darkness. Because energy follows intent and desire, it is important that when you call on the realms of light, that you ask for assistance from the highest level. There is a great deal of difference between the information you can receive from the various etheric levels even though their intent is always to assist you in empowering yourself with an understanding that you create your own reality through the choices you make.

The lowest etheric level gives you the ‘little picture’ perspective and the highest level gives you the ‘big picture’ perspective. Beings on the highest etheric level are very aware of all the lower levels but the lower levels are not aware of the higher levels. As God exists on the highest level this is where we will find the ultimate truth.

Because the Children of Light are only interested in assisting you to become aware of who you really are-an aspect of God-and to remind you that it is you who creates your reality moment by moment with your thoughts, they will not fix things or solve problems for you or anyone! But they will supply you with all the guidance and information necessary for you to make informed and loving decisions.

Initially, communication from the higher beings will feel and sound like the human’s own thoughts, but as the human practices this form of communication, they will gradually learn how to distinguish the difference between their own thoughts and those of their helper, and will even be able to detect which non-physical being is conversing with them, by recognizing their energies. When this level has been reached, the communication will be just as clear and powerful as a conversation with another human being.

Everyone has the ability to communicate with non-physical realms on every level, and many of us do. However, there are many realms of consciousness we would be advised not to communicate with because the beings who reside there have a low level of awareness, and have their own personal agendas. Many psychics communicate with beings who reside in the astral realms. These beings present themselves as Children of the Light, or as a particular spiritual entity whom that particular psychic believes in. Appearing in this way can be very convincing to someone who is unable to discern between the Children of Light and the children of dark. However, there are high level “psychics” with enough discernment and awareness that they are able to accurately communicate with energies from the higher etheric realms.

One can discern which level they are communicating with by equating what is said to Universal Law. If the information is not in accordance to free-will and non-interference, it is not coming from the light. If it requires one to be in judgment of a situation or person, if it requires a particular behaviour, or tells you what to do, then the message is not from the light.

If one consults a psychic, astrologer, or someone who claims they can change your life, tell your future, enable you to become wealthy, fix your personal relationships, or make someone fall in love with you, then you are dealing with someone who does not understand that free-will beings create their own reality. These types of channels communicate with low levels of consciousness and ultimately serve the dark side either intentionally or unintentionally. This is why it is so important that we learn discernment—so that we can be the ones in control of our lives.

You are the only one who has the power to determine your life’s experiences through the choices you make. Of course, choosing to give your power away is also your free-will choice. The Children of Light always work within the confines of the law of love and do not interfere in the free-will choices of anyone-just as God honours your free-will because It knows we learn through experience.

It can be said that some people have a “destiny” to fulfill; that it is important to the spiritual evolution of the planetary consciousness that a particular soul make specific choices. However, once that person incarnates, they are free to opt out of or ignore what they chose to do from a soul level prior to incarnating simply because they do have free will. It is important to understand that the children of darkness will go out of their way to interfere in the life path of these particular people. When this happens, the Children of Light will take steps to correct the interference so that particular person has an opportunity to carry out what they came here to do.

This type of intervention may also come in the form of a loved one who has passed on, who because he or she has not yet fully returned to the light, perceives harm is about to come to someone they love on the earth plane, and thus makes a choice to assist them in that moment. In some situations, you will also receive assistance from the realms of light in order to rectify a situation where the children of dark are interfering in such a way that you cannot fulfill your life’s purpose. This is often interpreted as “divine intervention” but it is not God who is intervening, but more accurately put, it is assistance from other Children of the Light.

We are all Children of the Light and children of God exploring this realm of duality just as do our brothers and sisters who dwell in the darkness. We always have access to beings of light who have chosen to halt their own evolutionary path through the universe to assist humanity in understanding the truth of who they are. All we require is an open mind and a desire to choose love in all our experiences. When we learn how to do this, our vibrations increase and we awaken to the connection to our own soul and to God.

Through meditation and spiritual mindfulness we can be in constant communication with the true essence of our being which is God. It is from this place that we come to know there is nothing beyond our ability to understand; that we do not lack for wisdom and knowledge when others come to us for assistance. We can only come to know who we are via the truths we receive when we listen from a place of love. It was to this understanding that a wise master once said, “You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free”.
