Michael L. Simonson is an extraordinary spiritual teacher and healer. His authority to speak and write about the simplicity of spirituality comes from years of constant communication with God. Michael’s most important qualification is that he has no official qualifications. He has not been biased by any religious line of thought nor has he any degree of formal education that would cloud his ability to clearly receive information of Divine nature. As a teenager and well into his twenties, whenever Michael focused his thoughts on God, an “amazing energy rush” would physically sweep through his body though it was so common an experience he attached little importance to it. It was not until he was thirty-three that Michael understood that these unusual energy influxes came from Source, as preparation for receiving the even higher energies required for future channeling, healing, teaching, and counseling work. Since then, Michael has been the constant recipient of an endless wealth of knowledge around the true purpose of life, of humanity, the universe, and the role of God. But he has taken none of it for granted. Over the last seventeen years, he has done his homework, researching, testing, and pondering all that he has been privy to. Because his work facilitates the making sense of God, he refuses to believe anything that is simply 'handed' to him—without first testing it out.

Michael is a man of research and logic. He has left no stone unturned. The puzzling Christian church teachings of how a loving God could purposely cause pain and suffering in the world, why a God powerful enough to create the entire universe was in need worship, and how God could possibly be capable of jealousy—have not stood up to his scrutiny. Blind faith does not enter into his teaching. Michael strongly urges all of his listeners never to believe anything that he tells them, nor anything anyone else tells them until they have taken the time to validate it through their own experience. From the very beginning of his dialogue with God and the higher realms, Michael has been urged to write about the 'Universal Laws' he has been given. At the same time, he was forewarned that his message would bring forth much anger from religious organizations not in agreement with his teaching. To even consider that our churches have unwittingly lost their way and are delivering erroneous information about God would cause most ‘believers’ to become very upset or even hostile. Becoming the target of such anger has not motivated him to hurry into the public eye. Michael is very aware of how, as he puts it, “On this planet, they like to shoot the messenger.”

Michael Simonson has questioned why God would choose him, a simple country boy without a formal education, to present this new information to the world. The answer he received was very clear. The only requirement God and Spirit have for working with anyone is simply that they have an open mind. It is impossible to hear clearly when one is enmeshed in a religious or belief system that requires living in fear or following stringent rules. Narrow-minded thinking actually serves to distort information that is directly given by the higher realms or God. In other words, when filtered through the biases of a limited system of thought, one is unable to receive information in its purest form. Having a totally open mind, free from the dictates of ancient dogma or present-day theological doctrines, has turned out to be the very criteria necessary for him to receive God's messages.

From his mid-thirties to now, the high level understandings Michael has both received and confirmed have profoundly changed his way of thinking, believing, and living—so much so that at the outset, he quit his lucrative full-time job in the construction industry to live the modest life of a spiritual teacher. He is a man who lives his beliefs. Truly, the proof of his authority lies in his teachings, the intense healing energy he channels through his hands, and the wisdom of his counsel.
