Reincarnation is not of the norm in the greater universe, but it is the norm on all planets that are ruled by fear. Your soul which is a being of love and light, a child of God, an aspect of God resonates to the energies of love. Fear in whatever form you experience it requires your energies to resonate on a level that denies the truth of who you are. Once this happens your soul becomes fragmented.

Your soul will then choose to master those fears that have caused it to become fragmented so it can become a whole being again. In order for your soul to master those fears that have caused it to become fragmented it needs to come back to this world where it experienced the fears. So your soul will choose to incarnate into situations that resonate to the fears that it carries so that it will have an opportunity to embrace them, to master them.

As an aspect of God, a child of God you are an eternal being.  There are more realms, more worlds for your soul to explore in this multidimensional universe than there are grains of sand on this world.  In the greater universe which is settled in love and light a soul will choose to incarnate on a planet or in a realm in order to experience creating with the unique energies each world or dimension affords the soul.  It may choose to have several lives on a particular planet depending on the experiences the soul is seeking.  When a soul has experienced everything that it was seeking to experience then it will choose to leave that world, that level and go to another world or level of experience to continue its journeys through the multidimensional universe. 

If it is a world where the soul utilizes a physical body to access that world it will choose the time of its transition or the cessation of the physical body.  In these worlds the death of the physical form only occurs when the individual soul no longer has a use for the body as illness or disease as we experience in this world does not exist.  A soul will inhabit a body for however long it chooses in order to experience that which the soul is seeking.  This could be a short time or thousands of years in your Earth time, it all depends again on what the soul seeking to experience.  Also a soul may choose to return to a particular world to share in experiences with another soul or souls at a later date.  This could be in a short time or in a very long time in your terms of understanding time in this world.

Unlike on this planet death of the physical form is known as a natural occurrence which allows the soul to transcend that level in order to enter the next level of experience.  Death of the physical form is not something that is feared in any way. Prior to choosing cessation of the physical form many souls will actually celebrate the event with those that are close to it in its experience.

Reincarnation therefore in the greater universe is just a word we could use in understanding how a soul transcends one level in order to experience the next one the soul chooses to experience.

Reincarnation on this planet which is ruled by fear has a very different meaning.  On this planet a soul/soul aspect will find itself reincarnating over and over many times for some of the following reasons:

a)      The short life span of the physical body that is a consequence of all the different diseases that are experience in this world because of what fear does to the human energy field which gives form to the physical body. Consequently many soul's do not experience everything they have chosen to experience in a given lifetime.

b)      The fact that we create our own reality and as children we see adults growing older and dying and therefore we expect the same thing to happen to us.  A spiritually aware being will only know death on this level when it chooses it.

c)       The soul choosing to experience everything this world has to offer.  As mentioned In one lifetime it is impossible because of the short lifespan of the physical body to experience everything this world has to offer.

d)      The fact that in a given lifetime if you are in a masculine body the soul can only have experiences that the male body affords it.  In order for the soul to experience this world from the feminine perspective it requires the soul to come back here in a female body in order to have all the opportunities a soul may experience in this form.  It is impossible again because of the short lifespan of the human body for the soul to experience everything that of the masculine or feminine form affords a soul in one lifetime.

e)      The fact that there are many different races and cultures in this world.

f)        The fact that there are many different belief systems, political systems and economic systems.

g)      The fact that there are many different types of environments in this world for the soul to explore.  (All the different geographical areas).

h)      The fact that there are many different types of relationships to experience with other souls.

i)        The fact that this is a realm of the duality where the soul can create with love and create with fear.  Those souls in a given lifetime who choose to create from a place of fear will of course not have an opportunity to understand what it is like to create with love and vice versa.

There of course are many other reasons that cause a soul to come back here.

Another one of the of the factors that causes a soul to reincarnate over and over is when judgment enters the equation.  Remember judgment requires you not to honor the free will choices of others.   

Following are some examples that judgment affords a soul in this world:

a)      If in this life you choose to be someone who abuses others sexually, emotionally and physically and as a result you will have the experience of what it is like to lord it over those you are abusing.  You will have no understanding of what it feels like to those you are abusing.  So in another lifetime you will have an opportunity to experience being abused in these ways so you have a total understanding of the consequences of creating with these energies.

b)      If in this life you are extremely homophobic you will find these judgments will give your soul cause to choose another life where you can experience being the very thing you are in judgment of.  Anyone who stands in judgment of another is going to find they'll have an opportunity to explore that which they are choosing judge.  Anyone judging another is someone who is not understanding of those they are judging or the situations that give rise to the judgments in the first place.

c)       If in this life you find yourself being a racist and standing in judgment of everyone who is not of your race.  You will find that in future life you will have an opportunity to experience those races that you are in judgment of in this life.

d)      If in this life you hold economic power and abusive it you will find in future lives you'll have an opportunity to experience the consequences of those abuses.

e)      If in this life you hold political power and the abuse it you will in future lives have an opportunity to experience the consequences those choices.

f)        In short if in any of your lives you allow fear to be a master your soul becomes fragmented and therefore it needs to keep coming back here until those fears are mastered and your soul becomes a whole being again.  So it is only you who determines the amount of time you spend on what is called the wheel of reincarnation on these levels.  If you continually choose fear/judgment in your life's situations you can be sure that you will be spending many lives here.  If you were to start choosing love than you would find your energies would be in sync again with your own soul and God which would allow you than to deal with all of your situations on this level from an aware empowered place.  You would then find your need to return to this level many times diminishing.  Your soul will continue choosing to incarnate into this world until it has mastered this world.  In other words when your soul and its aspects on this level are in control of their own creating and not allowing fear to control it.

Spend some time thinking on reincarnation and spend some time thinking on what some of our religions teach us insofar as our life's journey's.  God has created a multidimensional universe for all of us to explore our unlimited creativity.  The only way to truly know who we are and what we are capable of is through having an opportunity to explore our creative abilities.

As a small child in church I found it very difficult to believe that we would have one life and then either go to heaven or hell.  It just did not make any sense and it still does not.  What kind of God would give you only one life to experience this world, to experience this universe?

As we learn through experience and it is impossible to experience everything this world has to offer in one life, it only stands to reason that you would have many opportunities to explore this world and all that it has to offer.

Reincarnation is a word we use to explain the continuance of life. The fact that life flows from one moment to the next continuously.

The soul exists to explore its unlimited creative abilities.
